The HSHS EAP, administered by ComPsych, provides you and your household family members with 24/7 support to manage the stress and challenges of life. The program is available to all HSHS colleagues without enrollment, and there is no cost to you. All services through the EAP are completely confidential.
The EAP includes:
Confidential Counseling – Access to highly trained clinicians to help colleagues and their family members with any issues through six (6) no cost in-person or virtual sessions per individual, per issue, per year, including:
- Anxiety, depression, and stress
- Grief, loss, and life adjustments
- Relationship/marital conflicts
Work-Life Solutions – Access to specialists that provide qualified referrals, resources and assistance, including:
- Finding child and elder care
- Hiring movers or home repair contractors
- Planning events and locating pet care
Legal Guidance - Access to attorneys for assistance with pressing legal issues, including:
- Adoption, family law, wills, trusts, and more
Financial Resources – Access to financial experts that can assist with a wide range of topics, including:
- Retirement planning
- Relocation, mortgages, and insurance
- Budgeting, taxes, debt, bankruptcy, and more
Online Support – Access to GuidanceResources® Online 24/7 portal containing vital information, tools and support, including:
- Articles, podcasts, videos, and slideshows
- On-demand trainings
- “Ask the Expert” personal responses to your questions
