Prevea Virtual Care is an online visit with a health care provider for many common conditions. You can access Prevea Virtual Care from any web-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop).
You can complete an online visit at any time. The visit is asynchronous, which means that you will complete an online questionnaire, which take about 5-15 minutes to complete. Your answers are submitted to a Prevea provider for review. A provider reviews your responses and creates a treatment plan, which may include a prescription if necessary. You will be notified when the results are available, usually within 1 hour during office hours. Prevea offers video visits with select medical providers. - Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.,
- Saturday through Sunday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Start your online care visit by logging on to your MyPrevea account. If you don't have a MyPreva account, setting one up is easy. Simply click “Sign up now” on the log-in page and follow the instructions. If you do not have a MyChart activation code, click “Sign up online” and complete the activation process.
